White Lotus

No spoilers.

I haven’t slept well yet this year, thanks in large part to binge watching (1-1.5 episodes per night) White Lotus. We have 2 episodes remaining (that I can see) in Season 2.

The show is disturbing on so many levels. Watching it with Maggie brings up some reasonably uncomfortable “couple moments” with questions popping up like “do guys really think and do these things?” and “is that what happened with your trainer?!”. If not always out loud then certainly in our minds.

But it’s a brilliant series. It flows from scene to scene dropping smart bombs every few minutes that have you laughing out loud at one moment and your jaw dropping alongside a groan the next. It speaks to so many unspoken, often unseen, sides of society and human nature.

In my book, it’s a must watch.
