It Was Said

A new podcast by Jon Meacham that we just started listening to. We’ve heard 3 episodes so far – the first was Martin Luther King, Jr., followed by Bobby Kennedy, and then Barack Obama. Meacham brings in guests and academics to discuss some of their most impactful speeches.

Haven’t we already heard these talks? I would have thought so, and . And yet Meacham brings a new level of humanity to the orators themselves and context to these important talks.

One thing is for sure… each of these provide a sharp contrast to the thoughtless, aggressive, narcissistic and so often offensive and hurtful rhetoric we hear from our country’s leadership today.

So far we really enjoy it 🙌
